The Beautiful hummingbird or Oaxaca's sheartail or Oaxaca's hummingbird (Calothorax pulcher) was registred by Poulchra Gould in 1859. It is a Mexican endemic species whose natual habitats are the arid areas and open fields. This bird is found only at the southest of the Country, specifically en the States of Guerrero, Morelos, Puebla, Oaxaca and Chiapas. From peak to tail it measures 3.54 in.
