El Colibrí precioso o Tijereta oaxaqueña o Colibrí oaxaqueño (Calothorax pulcher) fué registrado en 1859 por Poulchra Gould. Es una especie endémica de México cuyo hábitat natural son las zonas áridas y campos abiertos. Esta ave sólo puede ser encontrada al sureste del País, específicamente en los Estados de Guerrero, Morelos, Puebla, Oaxaca y Chiapas.
