El Colibrí pico de águila o Pico de hoz de cola verde o Picohoz coliverde (Eutoxeres aquila) fué registrada por Bourcier en 1847 yes una especie de colibrí que se caracteriza por tener un pico curvado el cual está altamente especializado para ayudarle a alcanzar el néctar de sus flores favoritas (Las flores Heliconias). Esta ave puede ser encontrada en Costa Rica, Panamá, Colombia, Ecuador y al norte de Perú. Su hábitat natural es el sotobosque de las tierras bajas húmedas tropicales o subtropicales y bosques montañosos.
