Taphrolesbia griseiventris

El Colibrí coludo de vientre gris (Taphrolesbia griseiventris) es endémico de Perú. Fué registrado por Taczanowski en 1883. Su hábitat natural son las montañas de la pendiente del Pacífico al norte y centro de los Andes en Cajamarca Perú. Esta especie se encuentra en peligro debido a que el rango de su hábitat es muy reducido, por ésta razón fué incluida en el Apéndice II del CITES. De pico a cola mide 21 cm.

The Gray-bellied Comet (Tephrolesbia griseiventris) is endemic of Peru. It was registered by Taczanowki in 1883. Its natural habitat is the montains of the Pacific slope of northern and central Andes in Cajamarca Peru. This species is endangered because it has a very small habitat range but that reason was included in the Appendix II of CITES. From peak to tail it measures 8.27 in.
