Su distribución comprende Brasil (desde el Rio Amazonas a lo largo de una franja de unos 1500 kilómetros hasta la costa) Guayana Francesa, Surinam, Guyana y Venezuela (a lo largo de una franja bordeando la Costa Atlántica) Trinidad y Tobago, Granada, San Vicente y las Granadinas, Barbados, Santa Lucia, Martinica, Dominica, Guadalupe, Montserrat, Antigua y Barbuda y San Cristóbal y Nieves.
