La Coqueta de garganta rosada o Tucusito garganta rosa (Chaetocercus jourdanii) fué registrado por Bourcier en 1839. Su distribución comprende Trinidad y Tobago y Venezuela, pero también puede encontrarse, en regiones pequeñas y muy específicas en Colombia. Su hábitat natural son los bosques montañosos húmedos subtropicales o tropicales y antiguos bosques muy degradados. De pico a cola mide 7 centímetros.
The Rufous-shafted woodstar or Jourdain's woodstar (Chaetocercus jourdanii) was registered by Bourcier in 1839. Its distribution includes Trinidad and Tobago and Venezuela, but also it can be found, in small and very specific regions in Colombia. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist montanes forests and heavily degraded former forest. From peak to tail it measures 2.76 inches.
