El Mango verde o Zumbador verde de Puerto Rico (Anthracothorax viridis) fué registrado por Audebert y Vieillot en 1801. Esta ave es endémica de la isla principal de Puerto Rico, así como de su archipiélago. Su hábitat natural son los bosques de montaña y regiones montañosas de la isla sin embargo, a menudo, puede ser encontrado en plantaciones de café y otros tipos de plantaciones. Its natural habitats are mountain forests and mountainous regions of the island however, often can be found in coffee plantations and other types of plantations. From peak to tail it measures between 4.72 to 5.12 inches.
